The Enhancing Access to Clozapine Treatment by Removing Barriers at Key Point Health program is to enhance access to essential clozapine treatment for at-risk clients by addressing barriers to care and promoting health equity. Qlarant Foundation funds will purchase uninsured and non-reimbursable medical equipment necessary for the operation of Athelas Clozapine Regulation Machines. These devices enable clients to complete required Absolute Neutrophil Count monitoring conveniently in-clinic, removing the need for external lab visits, which many clients avoid due to anxiety, transportation challenges, or limitations from the effects of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
