The Chesapeake College Foundation program provides hands-on training opportunities for future nurses, paramedic/emergency medical technicians, medical assistants, and radiological/surgical technicians, among other health care workers. The manikin purchased with Qlarant Foundation funds simulates the experience of pregnancy, labor, and delivery, allowing students to practice their skills in obstetrics and childbirth techniques; it is a technology driven robot.
