Qlarant Integrity Solutions, LLC (QIS) was awarded the Retailer Investigations contract for the Eastern Region (Contract #12319826C5003) by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA), Office of Retailer Operations and Compliance (ROC). As the prime contractor, QIS is supporting the integrity of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in twenty-three (23) Eastern Region states (including the Virgin Islands) by conducting investigations of retailers identified by FNA and suspected of committing SNAP fraud. In addition, QIS is responsible for identifying emerging methods of potential retailer fraud and enhancing investigative techniques. QIS’s services on the contract directly support ROC’s mission to safeguard program integrity by reducing fraud, waste and program abuse, and ensuring consistent, compliant and effective investigative operations.
