La Clinica Del Pueblo has been in operation since 1983 and its mission is to build healthy Latino communities through culturally appropriate health services, focusing on those most in need.
La Clinica Del Pueblo received a grant of $25,000 for its Increasing Access to Latino Limited English Proficient Immigrant Youth Program. Qlarant Foundation continues to provide funding for the Mi Refugio Community Mental Health and Support Program, which provides behavioral health services for unaccompanied and recently arrived immigrant youth at the Northwestern High School in Prince Georges County. The program links Mi Refugio participants to a medical home and provides them sexual and reproductive counseling.
