The International Rescue Committee helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their futures. The Silver Spring office helps refugees become economically self-sufficient and socially integrated in communities in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. The Bridge to Health Care Initiative for Victims of Human Trafficking will assist clients to access health insurance, create a health care navigation plan based on individual needs, connect clients to culturally and linguistically appropriate health care services, and connect highly medically vulnerable clients to specialty health care services.
