Delmarva Foundation Promotes Rodgers to Senior Vice President

Easton, MD, March 15, 2016 – Dr. Ron Forsythe, President of Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, announced the promotion of Roxanne Rodgers to Senior Vice President of Operations. In her new role, she is responsible for utilization management, quality improvement, and external quality review programs for Medicare and Medicaid. Ms. Rodgers was the Corporate Quality Officer prior to her promotion and will continue to direct the corporate International Standards Organization (ISO) program in her new position. She has been with the Easton-based quality improvement company for more than 26 years.

“We are very excited about the value that our long-time associate Roxanne Rodgers adds to Delmarva Foundation’s senior leadership team,” said Forsythe. “She brings to the table over 26 years of corporate experience in a wide variety of roles in Delmarva Foundation and will provide dedicated and personal attention to our customers in the region.”

Ms. Rodger’s role includes business development; contract and budget management; staff oversight; and assuring customer satisfaction across all business lines. Her lengthy career with Delmarva Foundation includes numerous positions as the Corporate Quality Officer, Vice President for Data Integrity, Special Projects Leader, and other supervisory roles. Her background in project management, organizational skills, quality improvement, and clinical nursing experience as well as an ongoing focus on quality of health care delivery will enhance her ability to be successful in her efforts.

“Roxanne Rodgers will provide a presence to our customers that will show them that their success is our priority” said Forsythe. “She has the leadership and experience necessary to strengthen Delmarva Foundation’s position and ensure continued growth and success for the company.” Prior to joining Delmarva Foundation, her managerial and clinical experience as a Registered Nurse include almost 20 years in the acute medical, pediatric, cardiac, renal, and skilled nursing settings.

Ms. Rodgers earned her masters and bachelor degrees in Business Administration from the University of Management and Technology. She is a Registered Nurse and a graduate of Grace Hospital School of Nursing. Rodgers is a nationally-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt (CSSGB), and a member of American Society for Quality (ASQ) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
